Narratives of Loneliness, Multidisciplinary perspectives from the 21st century

Creative, provocative, informed, scholarly chapters pertaining to 21st century urban design / built environment on the subject of loneliness and/or isolation.

The book seeks to capture a broad range of narratives, critiques, observations and de/constructions of loneliness which identify, in some way the ‘lonelinesses’ particular to our current century. The anthology is mainly academic and therefore contributions should be based on, or refer to, research and/or practice and be theoretically grounded.
