{"id":371,"date":"2016-02-18T15:55:07","date_gmt":"2016-02-18T15:55:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/callsforpapers.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=371"},"modified":"2016-02-18T15:55:07","modified_gmt":"2016-02-18T15:55:07","slug":"scha-2016-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/callsforpapers.ihbc.org.uk\/?p=371","title":{"rendered":"SCHA 2016 CONFERENCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Scottish Catholic Architecture and Material Culture<br \/>\nSCHA 2016 CONFERENCE<br \/>\nLauriston Hall, Edinburgh, 29th October 2016<\/p>\n<p>To coincide with the Scottish Government\u2019s 2016 Year of Architecture, Innovation and Design, the Scottish Catholic Historic Association (SCHA) will hold its annual conference on the theme of Scottish Catholic architecture and material culture.<\/p>\n<p>The conference seeks to capture the unique heritage of Scottish Catholic architecture and material culture &#8212; from stone crosses and hidden spaces to cathedrals, and churches, including movable objects such as religuaries, rosaries and more &#8212; reflecting the long history of Catholicism in Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be sent by 31 March 2016 to: Darren Tierney (<a href=\"mailto:Darren.tierney@glasgow.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Darren.tierney@glasgow.ac.uk<\/a>) along with the title of paper, author\u2019s name, affiliation and a single page CV.
